Welcome to The Patient Passport!

Hi! Welcome to The Patient Passport. I'm Haley, an American student who loves to write and has finally decided to use that hobby in a productive way by starting a blog. The real question is,

What the heck am I going to write about?

You probably wanna know, and trust me, I would like to know as well. I've thought long and hard about it and I'm still not entirely sure. My first thought was travel. I love to travel, I love to read about travel, I love to see pictures of beautiful travel destinations. My issue is, I'm a high school student with school 9 months out of the year and no money of my own, so my travel opportunities are pretty spread apart. And there's the inspiration for my blog name, The Patient Passport; a girl who would love to use her passport more often but unfortunately must wait patiently for those opportunities to present themselves. 

So yeah, I'm gonna try to write about travel without the actual traveling part, by sharing the travel experiences I've already had and writing about any that come my way. Obviously I can't write about travel all the time when I'm sitting in my bedroom and living the same routine everyday, so I've been trying to come up with more realistic topics to blog about. I love to read, so book reviews and suggestions are a definite possibility. I'm really interested in learning foreign languages. Currently I'm learning German, and I'm really enjoying it. Other than that, I'm not really sure yet, but hopefully I'll figure it out. 

So I hope anyone out there who enjoys travel, books, foreign language, or just reading the random ramblings of a high schooler, will read and enjoy this blog. You can count on me to keep trying to write posts and topics that interest you guys, so keep coming back for more!
